Explicitly equipped to treat diving accidents and DCS; received the surviving diver from the 2024 Quảng Trị incident. Northern Vietnam's main referral chamber. Documented success treating a diver with decompression sickness and arterial gas embolism (recovered in ~4 days). Monoplace only — suitable for milder/stable cases. Civilian provincial hospital serving the Hạ Long Bay / Quảng Ninh coast. Operates a multiplace hyperbaric (Multi-Chamber) oxygen system. Documented success treating a diver with decompression sickness (limb weakness + respiratory distress; markedly improved after 3 days). Useful reference chamber for the far-northern coast.

Joint Vietnam-Russia military-scientific centre; hyperbaric (OXCA) unit established 1994, a pioneer in Vietnam for treating acute and chronic diver's decompression sickness. The main southern-Vietnam referral chamber — the realistic destination for DCS evacuated off Phú Quốc or Côn Đảo (neither island has its own chamber).
