Temples
The Mother Goddess worship in Vietnam in general and Vinh Phuc in particular, since its formation and development, has been considered the main axis in the folk beliefs of villages. Through the development period, from the image of the nameless Midwives, a Mother Goddess has appeared with identification in the Tam Dao mountain area, with a history of being a mountain god "Thanh Son Dai Vuong" recorded in ancient documents.
Thanh Son Linh Tu Temple worships the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm and the Four Palaces Saints, located on the foundation of an ancient temple worshiping the goddess who governs the Tam Dao mountain range, Thanh Son Dai Vuong, in the special national relic site of Tay Thien - Tam Dao.
Thanh Son Linh Tu Temple is majestic and solemn with full of respect. From here, the temple day and night emits fragrant incense smoke, blending with the sound of bells and drums in the morning and evening resounding in the middle of the green Tay Thien mountains and forests, bringing the prayers of the people from all directions for the country to be peaceful and prosperous, for the world to be peaceful and prosperous, for the people to be safe and happy.
In later generations, in the Hung King's genealogy, there appeared a full simulation of 18 eras, with the identities, titles and posthumous titles of later dynasties. And the goddess of Tam Dao mountain became a legendary character, with a human history. She became the Queen Consort of the 7th Hung Chieu Vuong in the Hung Kings' era. By the mid-18th century, she was elevated to the status of "Quoc Mau" recorded in the worship dictionary of the Le Dynasty's Ministry of Rites, with the title "Tam Dao Son Tru Quoc Mau toi linh dai vuong", with up to 50 places of worship of her in the communes of Vinh Yen city, Binh Xuyen, Lap Thach, Tam Duong, Tam Dao districts of Vinh Phuc province.
